Logic is a branch of mathematics that studies the truthfulness and falsity of statements. This course is restricted to advance level students and it comprises of Types of statements, Connectives, Truth Tables, logic laws such as DeMorgan’s laws, Law of syllogism.
A student should be able to;
Make the difference between statements and any other types of sentences,
Classify or categorize statements
Investigate the truth values of statements with the help of truth Tables.
Say whether statements are contradictions, tautologies or logically equivalent.
Identify the 5 types of connectives covered by the GCE syllabus.
